"free-hand life drawing", ink on paper
This is a free-hand life drawing I created in figure drawing class. I made this drawing based on the model and combined with my imagination. The prompt was drawing the model and adding imaginary elements.
There are some free-hand figure drawings I did in daily life. Some of them have reference pictures and some of them are from life. The media I used included ink pen, brush, and colored pencil.
There are some quick life drawings I did in figure class. I used different media including charcoal, oil pastel, ink, and chalk. I forgot the time limit for each one, but it was around 1-2 min.
"Magical painting class", oil pastel, pencil, charcoal
This is a life-size drawing. I couldn’t find paper with size large enough. Thus, I used four of the largest pieces of paper I could buy and put them together. The idea of this drawing comes from my sophomore painting class. The teacher was a very nice and enthusiastic person who helped me a lot since it was my first time to try oil painting. Thus, I was thinking of developing a character in a fantasy world, a magic painting teacher who can give painting life. The reason why I didn’t draw feet is because the drawing is too large and I put it on the wall. If I draw feet, I need to lay on the ground which is too hard and uncomfortable.
