“Sunset after a rain of The Met”, gouache on bristol paper
This is a gouache painting I created in October 2022 which is a time when I just started to learn how to paint. This is my first time creating a completed painting with gouache. I do think gouache is a really interesting and enjoyable medium. There is much more potential with using gouache that I can explore in the future. The met is the main dining hall of my school. The view in the painting shows a sunset scenery after rain in autumn in the New England area of the east coast of the United States.
